Welcome to Octopusy
Octopusy is a family run business, based in the seaside town of Whitstable, Kent on the South East Coast. We are a little bit different to your usual seafood and fish merchants as we have two aspects to our business.
One side of our business is mobile seafood and fish bar service in which we travel around Kent attending farmers markets, events, fetes and festivals supplying fresh local fish, home cooked produce, hot food ready to eat and seafood.
The other aspect to our business is cold buffet specialists happily catering for any occasion, weddings, funerals, christening, parties, and corporate lunches, with a twist!! - specialising in fish and seafood.
We come from a Fisherman's family going back many generations, along with catering backgrounds this gives us a good understanding a knowledge in producing high quality fish and seafood platters on top of a wide range of meat and vegetable dishes too.
Seafood and Fish with a bit of a twist. Whatever your occasion from weddings, birthdays and major events, we have a great selection of menus to suit your needs, ranging from simple sandwich platters to something a little more challenging like oysters and champagne!!!
We believe in providing a service to suit you and for this reason we are extremely flexible and will arrange any menu to fit your occasion, how about you select what you would like to see on your buffet.
Octopusy Ltd is registered with the Canterbury City Council department of Environmental Health who by Law are required to undertake regular inspections of the Business premises, Health and safety, Hygiene and Staff training records. Our business works to the Safer Food Better Business system.
Octopusy is also a member of Produced in Kent
and holds a 4 star rating with the Scores on the Doors, with
Canterbury City Council.
